Volunteering, Fundraising, becoming a Friend of Camtrust or being a Corporate Partner or a Trustee are all ways in which you can make a real difference to the sustainability of the work Camtrust does to give adults with disabilities the chance to develop their life skills and work towards recognised qualifications.
Volunteering
We always need volunteers...
- Working alongside the students as a one-to-one supporter
Students at Camtrust frequently require one-to-one help and support. Committed volunteers, spending half a day or more each week are made very welcome and can really make a difference to the progress and achievement of the students. Camtrust will arrange for volunteers to have a CRB check.

- Helping with administration and reception duties
We often have need for such help during the day. We are currently looking for one or two people to help with office administration and reception work. The atmosphere at Camtrust is warm and friendly. Hours are negotiable and flexible between 9.30am and 4.00pm. Job-sharing and term-time-only would be possible.
- Helping to deliver the Camtrust Contact magazine
The Camtrust Contact magazine is produced twice a year. We aim to deliver our community magazine to all the homes in Histon and Impington. If you would enjoy getting some exercise and helping the local community to keep in touch with Camtrust, we would love to hear from you.
Fundraising
Although the teaching is funded and IT equipment provided by Huntingdonshire Regional College, we always need to raise funds to cover the running costs such as rent, heating, electricity, gas and consumables.
Fundraising also helps to raise awareness, is fun, and helps us to become more involved in the local community. We are always open to offers and ideas, from coffee mornings to quiz nights, concerts to marathons...

Becoming a Friend of Camtrust is free and will keep you in touch with us about our activities and forthcoming events. You will receive:
- updates by email or post about forthcoming fundraising events
- a copy of Camtrust Contact, our community magazine

Corporate Partnership
Could you encourage your workplace to become a supporter of Camtrust as part of their Corporate and Social Responsibility Programme? Becoming a trustee
