Welcome to Camtrust
Camtrust has been chosen as one of the successful community groups to benefit from a £10,000 give-away by The Cambridge Building Society in conjunction with the Cambridge News! But we depend on our supporters and readers of the News. From Monday Jan 30th to Friday Feb 24th, please support Camtrust by collecting tokens in the Cambridge News for Camtrust's share in the Cambridge Building Society's Cash in the Community fund. The more tokens that are donated for Camtrust the bigger the share of the £10,000 Camtrust will receive. Please ask your neighbours, friends or colleagues to collect them for Camtrust. They need to be handed in to any CBS branch (or to Camtrust) by Feb 24th in an envelope labelled Camtrust. Look out for us in the Cambridge News during February. Thank you. |
Camtrust is a Cambridge-based charity offering education opportunities to adults with disabilities.
Our teaching takes place in a relaxed commercial work-based studio environment. Parallel to the teaching is the development of the students’ own individual life skills and confidence levels, and they are given a comprehensive introduction to life in the workplace.
Camtrust also operates a commercial design and print company in conjunction with its charity status. Profits from its commercial arm are fed directly back into the charitable side of Camtrust.

- We are continuing to deliver our City and Guilds’ courses to our 14 students who are working hard to achieve their qualifications and have returned for the Spring Term full of determination and energy. We are also continuing to provide work experience opportunities for a student from Impington Village College.
Towards the end of 2011 Amy, our resident LSA, left to have her first baby. Fortunately Kirsten, who has been a volunteer at Camtrust for some considerable time, was able to step straight into Amy’s shoes. Just like Amy, Kirsten is a pleasure to work with and has a wicked sense of humour which is just the ingredient needed to become a team member here at Camtrust.
